Great initiative by the city of Austin, TX! From the Austin Business Journal:

“The goal is to reduce food waste and other organic material (such as paper towels, napkins and greasy pizza boxes) from going to local landfills. The requirement will be phased in and all food-permitted businesses will be affected by the ordinance by 2018.”
