RESOURCE GROUP TEAM SPOTLIGHT: Welcome, John Hoar – Account Executive, Southeast
Q: Tell us a bit about you and your background – work experience.
A: My background has always revolved around produce. It began at Publix Supermarket along time ago. I spent 27 years at Publix; 5 years at Whole Foods Markets; 3 years at Tunies; and 6 months at Nutrition Smart – all in produce / merchandising / sales.
Q: Tell us a bit about you and your background – life experience.
A: I lived in South Florida, met my wife Nancy, raised 3 children. Along the way I became vegan, studied with Dr. McDougall and that changed my life.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job / field?
A: I enjoy educating people about the benefits of eating organic fruits and veggies. Explaining how I reduced my weight and stopped taking all my medications, just by making the change to eat healthier and go vegan.
Q: What are you passionate about?
A: I’m passionate about family, friends, coworkers, and of course Organic fruits and vegetables.
Q: What are 3 fun facts about yourself?
A: I love to have fun and spend time with my grandchildren; I love music; I love to travel and fishing is a big hobby of mine.
